Job Description
Director of Sales is responsible for managing all the sales efforts of the sales department. He/She will execute strategic plans, motivate our sales team to meet sales goals and ensure the company provides exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ability to create and lead a team of sales professionals.
- Achieve revenue goals set forth each year to produce profitability.
- Present all products, both radio and TV, to prospective clients using research and programming information.
- Maintain sales data bases necessary to report activity and customer information.
- Performance of any other tasks or projects relating to sales.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 7-10 years of sales experience or 5 years of management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.
- Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
- Understanding of how to position products against competitors
