Job Summary/Description:

KSLA has launched a unique OTT platform aimed to relay news faster and more in-depth throughout the day. The ideal Executive Producer/Anchor for this position is a digital/social superstar who knows how to engage with the audience, has strong interview and ad lib skills, and can manage multiple stories. The EP/Anchor will lay out a coverage plan each day and adjust as the news of the day dictates. We need an awesome organizer who has a plan and then can blow it up as news changes.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

*Develop a daily OTT plan utilizing staff and regional/national resources
*Develop/produce content throughout the day for OTT and all platforms
*Live interviews/debriefs with reporters, story subjects, content contributors, etc.
*Appear on camera anchoring reports throughout the day
*Adjust plan as breaking news develops
*Interact/contribute to our company’s OTT channel Local News Live (LNL)


*Clear and concise communication with team members and social/digital audience
*Demonstrate strong organizational skills
*Writing and editing skills to produce content for all platforms
*College degree in journalism or related field
