Job Summary/Description:

We seek a graphics-oriented producer who can help our news room tells its stories with visual clarity and can provide station marketing and commercial productions with graphic design and post-production magic.

This person will attend the daily news editorial meetings and work with news management and producers to determine which stories would benefit most from high-quality custom graphics. This person will also become a part of our documentary team, assisting our investigative unit with graphics that help explain the issues. This person will also work with marketing and sales in an effort to make every promotional spot, every client commercial stand out visually and attract the most attention. This person may also be asked to be the lead producer on spot projects from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Qualified candidates will be well-versed with Adobe Creative Cloud, most specifically with After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premier. It would be helpful if you are an avid follower of the news and curious about how it impacts local life. You should also be anxious to continue to train and learn new skills that will keep your work fresh. Above all, you should be a team-player looking to collaborate, assist others, and allow them to assist you.
