Job Summary/Description:
Here’s your opportunity to help launch a brand-new program on KSLA. We’re searching for a host/reporter for our Lifestyle Show. The program is interview-based. The show will highlight topics, events, and businesses in our community.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Pitch daily local story ideas
• Interview show guests/clients both in-studio and on location
• Research, shoot, write, edit, and present stories on the air, including sponsored content
• Assist Producer with writing show segments
• Post to social media accounts and assist with all online content for the website/app
• Closely work with marketing and sales teams on sponsored content
• Must have the ability to stay up to date on current events, what’s popular, trendy, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proven experience as a host or on-air personality
• Strong ad-libbing and interview skills
• Must be a highly-motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
