As a Master Control Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-air content quality and accuracy of our broadcast, acquiring and organizing media content, monitoring and controlling the transmission equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure quality control of on-air content
- Manage on-air playlists and scheduling
- Acquire, record, and organize media content
- Control and troubleshoot the transmission equipment
- Communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth broadcast operation
- Keep record of discrepancies and issues
- Follow the FCC regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- Experience in broadcast media, with a strong familiarity in Master Control operation and automation systems a plus
- Knowledge of FCC rules, guidelines, and compliance regulations
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems quickly and effectively
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
