CUMULUS | Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking a dynamic Promotions/Production Coordinator to join our team! Our stations include: KSMB 94.5, KRRQ 95.5, KNEK Magic 104.7 and KXKC 99.1. The cluster of (5) stations reaches thousands of listeners every day and has a large digital footprint.
The Promotions/Production Coordinator represents the Cumulus stations at specified events acting as a Brand Ambassador and helps make sure our stations produce great sounding commercials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing & execution of promotional events and digital campaigns
- Able to create, write and manage rule sets for station promotions and give-aways
- Execute proper technical and physical set-up and breakdown of remote broadcasts and station events; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly
- Represent stations at events in an upbeat and friendly manner
- Data Entry of Promotional events and contesting
- Work with promotional partners and gathering of prizes for giveaways
- Create e-blasts, social media posts & website posts; review promotional information and graphics
- Inventory and maintenance of prize closet, calendars, events for current and upcoming promotions
- Assist with vehicle inspections, fuel and coordinating maintenance
- Ability to drive station vehicles
- Maintain and storage of station equipment
- Participation in station Programming, Promotions and Sales meeting when required
- Tracking commercial scripts and ensuring all copy/creative is received and accurately imputed into the production order system in a timely fashion
- Coordinating copy with the Sales Staff and clients
- Coordinating and executing the entering of syndicated radio programs and network commercials
- Recording client spots and creating spec spots when needed
- Daily commercial production; both on-air and online for mutually agreed upon products
- Assign commercial production through traffic scheduling system
- Writing advertising copy when needed
- Ensure logged commercials, promotions, sweeper’s and any other programming elements essential to the station’s operations are aired
- Cross-check commercials for the legal ID and making sure commercials are legal and within the station’s guidelines of acceptance
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of promotions, events, audio production and digital space required
- Reliable; have a flexible schedule and be available to work at least 40 hours per week, that could include days, nights, weekends and holidays
- May require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented and responsible
- Proficient using computers and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Event experience a plus
- Strong Social Media skills with sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Ability to learn new platforms (understanding of Microsoft 365 is a plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Radio or Media Production, or related field is preferred
- Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, multi-task and the discipline to focus and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and strategic problem solver
- Strong production skills and knowledge of Op X, Reaper, Adobe Audition, Audacity and vCreative software is a plus
- Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations
- Flawless eye for detail
- Be collaborative and a team player with a positive attitude
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older
