Job Summary/Description: WLFT TV, is looking for a dynamic General Sales Manager to build the best sales team in the Louisiana. WLFT/KGLA serves the Baton Rouge/New Orleans markets in Southeast Louisiana and is proud to be the leader in entertainment programming of the many festivals in Louisiana. The candidate must be an innovative leader who knows how to maximize revenue on our Soul of the South, Telemundo, NewsNet and Antenna TV stations and digital platforms. This individual will have experience coaching, training and leading team members to consistently growing market share and new revenue. A successful track record driving new/incremental revenue and implementing creative solutions is required. We need an expert at pricing/inventory control, strategic planning, managing multiple sales projects, motivating, leading Local AE’s and sales managers. Plans and an accountability model for developing new business is a must. Our new GSM is skilled in WideOrbit & Comscore. Three years television sales management experience preferred; college degree preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a great station and company.
