Broadcast Meteorologist

Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Broadcast Meteorologist to join our four-person weather team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about weather, confident in front of the camera, and skilled in interpreting and communicating complex meteorological data in an engaging manner. This person will produce daily forecasts on multiple platforms, including television, digital, and social media throughout the workday.

Knowledge of South Louisiana is a plus. If you embrace new technology, like to find unique ways to present the weather story, and want to work somewhere that challenges you to try new things, we want to talk to you!

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science;
• 1-3 years of on-air experience as a Broadcast Meteorologist; 
• Be qualified for AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal or NWA Seal of Approval; 
• Familiarity with TWC Max platforms is a plus.
